NarrowForge B2B Credit Control — Privacy policy
Scope and product boundary
This policy explains how NarrowForge B2B Credit Control processes information when it is installed in a Shopify store. The app gives merchants a read-only, reconcilable view of B2B receivables, payment terms, aging and internal exposure limits. It does not collect debts, block checkout, lend money or provide financial advice.
Information processed
The app uses the minimum information needed for the documented B2B workflow:
- Shopify store, installation and company identifiers used to keep tenants separate.
- Company names, merchant-configured limits, currencies and threshold settings.
- Order references, payment-term data, due dates, amounts, refunds and payment-state information needed for aging.
- Receivable snapshots, alerts, statement metadata, queued jobs, webhook receipts and audit events.
The service does not need to store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or delivery addresses for the documented receivables view. Shopify may still return data controlled by the merchant while the app performs its authorised read.
Purpose and merchant responsibility
We process this information to import and reconcile B2B orders, calculate date-based aging, show the records behind a total, surface exceptions, maintain internal limit history and generate statements requested by the merchant. The merchant remains responsible for its lawful basis, payment decisions and any customer communication.
Storage, providers and retention
Operational records are scoped to the authenticated Shopify store and are processed by Shopify plus the hosting and database providers needed to run NarrowForge. No data is sold or used for advertising. Receivables, configuration and audit history are kept while the merchant needs the service and removed through the app's deletion boundary or a verified request. Payment details are handled by Shopify App Pricing; NarrowForge does not store card numbers.
Deletion and rights
Uninstalling revokes app access. Shopify deletion and shop-redaction events are handled for the store-scoped records, and a merchant can also use the NarrowForge data-deletion page or privacy support. Requests are verified and routed to the merchant where the merchant controls the data.
