License Radar for Jira — Terms of service
1. Service
License Radar for Jira is a read-only Jira Cloud application for reviewing product access and observable issue activity on the Jira site where it is installed. It is a supporting analysis tool, not an identity-management system, a billing ledger or a promise of savings.
2. Authorised use
Install and use License Radar only in a Jira site you are authorised to administer and only for your organisation's legitimate access-review work. If you act for a business, you confirm that you can accept these product terms on its behalf.
3. Read-only boundary
License Radar does not remove or suspend users, change groups, revoke product access, edit Jira permissions, modify customer configuration or change billing. It reads supported Jira data and stores its own configuration, scan results and review decisions in the app's Forge Storage. Decisions and access changes, if any, happen outside License Radar.
4. Evidence and estimates
Results are based on the information returned by supported Atlassian APIs. An activity date represents an observable Jira issue update associated with an assignee, reporter or creator; it is not a last-login metric. Product-assignment paths are not claimed where the API has not proved them. Cost figures use reference or administrator-provided assumptions and are labelled as estimates associated with access worth reviewing. They are not a guaranteed saving, invoice amount or licensing decision.
5. Plans and billing
License Radar may provide Free and Pro entitlements. Current limits, features and prices are the ones shown on the Atlassian Marketplace listing. Atlassian Marketplace manages billing, taxes, subscription status and cancellation. NarrowForge does not ask for or store payment-card details.
6. Customer responsibility
You are responsible for validating results with the relevant user, manager, product owner and procurement policy before changing access outside the app. You are also responsible for handling exported user information as confidential business data and for complying with your organisation's policies and applicable law.
7. Acceptable use
- Use the product for its documented purpose and within the limits of your plan.
- Do not attempt to access another Jira site or another customer's data.
- Do not probe, overload or bypass technical, security or commercial limits.
- Never send passwords, API keys, personal access tokens or OAuth secrets through support.
8. Availability and changes
The service depends on Jira Cloud, Atlassian Forge and Atlassian APIs. A scan may be incomplete or fail when those services, permissions or rate limits prevent a complete read. The app must show that state rather than presenting an incomplete result as a completed one. We publish meaningful product changes in the changelog.
9. Privacy and intellectual property
Data handling is described in the License Radar privacy policy. License Radar, its code, design, documentation and marks are owned by the provider or used under licence. These product terms do not transfer that ownership.
10. Marketplace terms and contact
These product terms supplement the terms that apply through Atlassian Marketplace. If a Marketplace term or a signed customer agreement conflicts with this product summary, the applicable Marketplace term or signed agreement controls. Questions: support@narrowforge.com.
