What Proofwing checks

Proofwing compares recorded billing intent with supported Stripe Billing evidence before a release reaches customers. It is designed for review, not for changing live billing.

The current private preview focuses on subscription behaviour, prices, quantities, trials, discounts, schedules and invoice-preview differences. Unsupported or incomplete combinations remain visible as REVIEW.

The review flow

  1. Open Proofwing from the verified Stripe installation.
  2. Select the billing behaviour or contract you want to review.
  3. Run the preflight check and inspect the evidence behind the result.
  4. Review the financial difference and record the decision or follow-up.

Evidence states

  • PASS — the available evidence matches the confirmed intent.
  • REVIEW — evidence is incomplete, variable or outside the supported scope.
  • BLOCK — the evidence contradicts the recorded intent.

Proofwing is read-only against the Stripe Billing objects it analyses. A result is an input to a release decision, not a replacement for Stripe's billing ledger or your team's review process.
