Draft orders

Choose draft orders when the team needs to review, adjust or charge later in Shopify. Bulk Gift Orders creates the draft records and leaves Shopify's normal draft-order workflow in control.

Orders

Choose orders only for gifts whose commercial treatment is already decided outside the app. The financial state must be explicit. The app never invents a successful transaction and never assumes that a recipient spreadsheet is proof of payment.

Resumable creation

The worker claims each recipient atomically and stores the created order or draft reference. If the worker stops, a retry searches the deterministic batch tag before creating again. Recipients that cannot be created remain visible with their issue and error state.

Quotas

Monthly quotas count new creations. A quota stop leaves remaining recipients pending; it does not delete the batch, report or audit history. After an eligible plan change, resume the batch from the remaining recipients.
