Bulk approvals and results

Select deliberately

Use the row checkboxes or the header checkbox when the visible set is appropriate. The bulk bar stays visible with the count selected and decision-specific actions such as Approve 8 and Decline 8.

The interface blocks a bulk operation that exceeds the plan or operation limit before it can run. Individual approvals remain available on Free.

Confirm the consequence

The confirmation dialog names the action and the exact count, for example Approve 8 requests? It explains that each decision will be recorded in Jira Service Management. Choose Continue only after checking the selection; choose Cancel or close the dialog to leave the approvals unchanged.

What happens during processing

The app disables duplicate submission while it works, re-validates each approval and processes compatible items with bounded concurrency. A decision is counted only after the native JSM action succeeds.

Read a partial result

Bulk operations are not reported as all-or-nothing when the items have different outcomes. A result can say:

• 6 succeeded — six native decisions were recorded;
• 1 already completed — the approval changed elsewhere or was no longer pending;
• 1 failed — a technical or permission problem needs follow-up.

Refresh the inbox. Treat the remaining item as actionable for individual review or retry only after reading the message.
